Three Vietnamese artists featured at the ASEAN Culture and Art Creation Season

Through the connection facilitated by the Lan Tinh Foundation, three artists – Lam Gia Huan, Nguyen Ha My and Truong Van Ngoc – have been selected as the latest representatives from Vietnam to participate in ASEAN Culture and Art Creation Season VII International Exhibition, which will take place in Xiamen, China.

ASEAN Culture and Art Creation Season VII International Exhibition is scheduled to open on 13 November 2026 at the ASEAN Cultural and Economic Exchange Centre in Xiamen, China. Under the theme “Silk Road Connections: Impressions of Ancestral Homelands”, nearly 200 artists from 19 countries will present more than 200 artworks inspired by the Maritime Silk Road, alongside an exquisite selection of Dehua white porcelain.

Guided by its commitment to “bringing traditional Chinese culture to the world while embracing diverse cultural influences from abroad”, the annual programme has established connections with 25 countries and received nearly 50,000 competition entries from artists across Asia. Over successive seasons, it has showcased more than 1,000 artworks reflecting the cultural heritage of the Maritime Silk Road and welcomed nearly 1,000 international artists to China, fostering scholarly and cultural exchanges while opening up opportunities for international collaboration.

Through the support of Lan Tinh Foundation, three Vietnamese painters — Lam Gia Huan, Nguyen Ha My and Truong Van Ngoc — will represent Vietnam in the programme’s seventh season. Their participation offers an opportunity not only to showcase their artistic practices and engage with fellow artists from around the world, but also to take part in an international forum for scholarly exchange, encouraging professional development, artistic dialogue and cross-cultural understanding.

Three artworks featured at the exhibition include:
